Lucy was initially adopted when she was a young energetic dog. The resident family dog found her excitement too much and poor Lucy found herself spending long periods in a crate.

Eventually her adopter contacted us and Lucy was placed at Abbey kennels. While there she was shown the love and compassion that she deserved and she blossomed into a beautiful girl.

She was spotted by her forever family when they visited the kennels having lost their previous rescue dog. Lucy’s mum and dad adore her cheeky ways. She is very loving and gives the best cuddles.

She’s a lucky girl because they spend their summers in Whitby at their holiday home.

From a difficult start, Lucy is now a much loved family member.
