We adopted KitKat and Galaxy just over 7 weeks ago. We picked up two very scared and timid little puppies and over the weeks we have spent a lot time and effort with them to gain their trust, teaching them that they are going to be fed regularly and watching them learning to play and mix with our resident dogs. They have grown in confidence over the weeks to walk on lead and have started to attend puppy classes. Maybe we underestimated how much we would have to gain their trust but watching them blossom and grow in confidence has been so rewarding and they have become such loving pup’s with great personalities. Having four dogs in the house can be chaotic at times but it is amazing to see them all bonding together and if you are thinking of adopting a dog from Strays Without Borders we would highly recommend it as long as you have the time to spend with them as it is so rewarding.
