“You never really know what you’re going to get when you rescue, and we are no strangers to adopting. In Cooper we have been so lucky, the timid little pup we saw on the website has come on leaps and bounds, literally.

When we picked him up from the boarding kennels he had his tail between his legs, no doubt worn out from a long time travelling, but the minute we got him in the car, he rested his head on my lap, unfolded his tail and slept the whole way home.

From day one of not knowing how to use the stairs or that he finally had a bed of his own, to now, flying up and down the stairs and using everything he possibly can as a bed!

From stray to lord of the manor, Cooper brings so much love and affection to us and our home. He loves going for walks and does so well travelling in the car to meet our families and their dogs too. He is coming along with his socialising and learning how to play. He is king of the sofa and even displaces my fiancé onto the floor!

We truly believe a dog knows when they’ve been rescued, and they give back their thanks in so many ways. Our home is complete now and that’s all thanks to SWB.”
