Three is one of those amazing dogs you rescue, but for some reason he has been overlooked. He has now completed his fourth year in the shelter in Macedonia.
He was rescued with his friend, who was adopted shortly afterwards, but Three never left his concrete floor and wooden pellets for a bed.
He isn’t very noticeable, as he has a gentle nature, is calm, and doesn’t ask for much. It’s easy to overlook him… but when we visited, it was clear he had had enough of kennel life. He longs for freedom, for a home, for a life outside that small cell.
He didn’t want to let go of our hands; he wanted to stay in an embrace and feel the gentle touch on his face, but we had to leave. This dog is truly wonderful. He deserves so much more than rescuers can give him.
Three would thrive in a calm adult only home or a home with older age school children. He can live with other submissive and gentle dogs, or as the only pet. In return, he will love you endlessly.
