About Lucy
Lucy is a sweet, affectionate young girl with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. At just 1.5 years old and 19kg, she’s a medium-sized beauty with a shiny coat and soulful brown eyes that photos simply don’t do justice.
She absolutely adores people – including new ones – and thrives on cuddles, affection, and companionship. Her gentle, playful nature makes her a joy to be around. She loves chasing after balls (although she hasn’t quite grasped the whole “bring it back” bit yet!) and enjoys her walks, showing off her lovely lead manners without pulling.
She’s friendly with other dogs and remains calm even around barky ones, but deep down, Lucy prefers to be the centre of someone’s world. She’d flourish as the only pet in a home where her humans are around often.
She’s already making great progress with her training and has no issues with resource guarding. While she’s calm around traffic, it’s not really her favourite thing – so a quieter, semi-rural home would suit her well.
Personality
Lucy is loving, gentle, bright, and full of potential. She’s already impressing the kennel staff with how quickly she’s picking things up and adjusting to her surroundings. She’s calm, sociable, and eager to please – a young dog with a great foundation who just needs the right home to blossom fully.
She will do well with older children, but due to her prey drive, she’s not suitable to live with cats or small animals, and she’ll need off-lead time only in secure areas. With enough exercise and mental stimulation, she settles beautifully – though she may still sneak in a cheeky bed chew now and then if left bored!
